I’m always learning something new every single day, which is so important to me. I easily get bored of a job & I quit to learn something new at a different job.
The great thing about Social Media is that it’s always changing so it will never get dull or boring.
What do you like most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the freedom to work where ever I am in the world.
I love to travel to new places and see the world – and at the same time meet new clients and help them succeed in their goals.
You started as a digital creator now you run an agency, how you decided to upgrade your work and open an agency?
I actually started as a fashion photographer, then closed my photography business in 2016 to pursue a digital creator which now led me to run a boutique agency (small team). I always knew growing up that I would be my own boss, and social media is just my calling. As I like to say, from being creative to a social media guru I know both sides of the business which helps me execute my strategies for both brands and creatives.
A few years ago, I used to work for an agency — figured this was going to be my career path, helping another business owner grow their business and benefit them in any way that I can. After a while, I just wanted to travel the world and work wherever there was Wi-Fi – spend more time with my family and create my own schedule. After some deep consideration, and a huge saving in my bank account (because this is important) I created Intuitive Social.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to start in the industry?
When you start to feel that “what now” feeling — it’s time to make the jump in your career. I remember sitting at my desk, upset once again on missing out on opportunity after opportunity, and said that’s it. I made sure my savings were full, I had projects in line before pulling the plug on my 9-5. Moral of the story: follow your gut feeling, it’s the best reward ever.
What was your first big break in the industry?
This is a tough one — as a digital marketer, my first big break was landing a huge well-known luxury skincare brand as a client and receiving referrals back to back.
What’s one of the most interesting projects that you’ve done?
One of the most interesting projects I have ever done was creating a brand strategy for a well-known brand in tech! Our clients here at Intuitive Social are normally in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle niche.
What habit has most influenced you to become who you are today?
Rebranding my strategy religiously as a digital creator which in the end helped me understand that creating and implementing the right strategy is very important when it comes to your social media goals.
How do you maintain inner peace?
I meditate every morning — I cleanse my crystals, I practice my affirmations. Without these practices, I would drive myself insane.
